Committees are designated as
either standing committees which operate continuously, or special committees,
which organize and meet to handle a specific task or issue and then disband
once the stated goals are accomplished |

The Publication Committee is a
standing committee, chaired by the Newsletter Editor and consists of two (2)
additional members, one selected from the Board of Directors and
member-at-large. The duty of this committee is to assist and advise the
Newsletter Editor in the assembly and editing of the newsletter. Committee Chair: Monique Kramer |
The
Education Committee is a standing committee, chaired by the President-Elect
and consists of at least three (3) members. This committee advises the
Board of Directors on educational matters and promotes the pursuit of
knowledge about environmental health. This committee also oversees the

The Finance Committee is a standing
committee and consists of three (3) members, two of whom are the Treasurer,
who acts as Chair, and the President-Elect. This committee assists and
advises the Treasurer. This committee develops the association budget,
in line-item format, for each fiscal year. Committee Chair: John Boyce |
The Legislation
Committee is a standing committee consisting of at least two (2)
members. The Committee reviews existing and proposed state and local
laws, ordinances and regulations regarding public health and the environment
and makes recommendations for action to the Board of Directors. Committee

The Web-Site Committee is a special
committee. This committee maintains and organizes the association web site. Committee Chair: Greg Epperson |
The Finance Committee is an special
committee. This committee plans and organizes conferences and membership
meetings for the association, working closely with the Education Committee. Committee Chair: Michelle Morris |

The Membership Committee is a
standing committee that consists of at least two (2) members. This committee
studies ways and means of increasing the general membership of the
Association. The Membership Committee assists Board of Directors in
maintaining a current membership list and the mailing list for the
newsletter, ballots, distribution of minutes, and membership renewals. Committee Chair: Susie Sid |
